PERSONALITY/APPEARANCE:
After After what he believes to be twelve years of life in the tower, Hidetoshi Odagiri has relaxed, though the uptight and stern disciplinarian aspect of his personality remains very much intact, and gained much more self-confidence (in comparison to his younger self at least.) As a reserved but well-meaning older man in his twenties, he holds to both a strong code of honor and a personal philosophy of "give and take", like authority must be tempered with kindness, disciple should be dealt with respect, and yada yada. Becoming an accomplished fighter with electrical knives, and gaining a self-acceptance to the point of awakening a Persona, he reacts much more capably and in-control in hopeless situations, having adjusted to the situation of an unending existence in the tower, and sometimes finds it difficult to imagine living a different lifestyle from the one he currently leads, and to remember living a relatively carefree life back in his original dimension as a teenager desperate for power and the student presidency. Losing people constantly, and surviving in this helltower has scraped away at a lot of his high school ideals, but the man holds onto them whenever he can.

No, he doesn't think his world is gone. \o/

He's not as domineering, but Hidetoshi still has a touch of self-righteousness to him, and rigid ideas of what is wrong and what is right. One the surface, he's straightforward when it comes to saying what he thinks, and expressing his concerns, and annoyance with people who lack common sense. But the Tower is not an environment conductive in terms of stability or sanity, and he's very wary when it comes to making a friend or reaching outside of his usual circle of comrades since well, the people he cared about and castmates have come and gone like dust, and people don't always stay or survive in the Tower. When it comes to himself, he's bad at thinking about things beyond IS THIS THING BOTHERING ME ---> YES/NO ---> DEAL WITH IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ---> MOVE ON and never think about it again eveeeeer, he has all the unhealthy repression and zen acceptance of unhappy things. Just clamps down on all his emotions like crazy, there is nothing you can do to bother him, fuck off.

If placed into a combat situation, Hidetoshi is not very personally engaged with the world around him; on the battlefield, it's all very nonfeels and nonjudging and businesslike behavior from him, and there's no real sense of "fun" derived from it! (Naturally, this probably drove Lancer fucking nuts.) Sparring on the other hand, is something he actively enjoys doing and differs it from fighting on the battlefield. A logical and excellent strategist, he does not actively feel loathing for anyone and simply pulls mental faces when he meets any unsavory types or the admins. No matter how much Lancer nags him, he VICIOUSLY RESISTS all and any attempt to join in on THIS DRUNKARD's drinking binges, no matter how much of bros they are. He is that stiff-faced friend who sits there at the bar with you, doesn't touch a beer, pulling disapproving faces and drives your shitfaced butt home afterwards.

Physically, his appearance has changed as well; he hit his growth spurt around the second year mark, and gained a fair amount of height, so he cuts an imposing figure with boardish shoulders and a thin frame that he handles with more grace when a scrawny twig of a teenager did. The man's hands are covered in old scorch burns, and a dozen little white scars where he nicked himself on accident, and worry marks etched into the skin around his dark gray eyes. After running out of hair gel to slick back his bangs, he grew out his hair and tied it back into a respectable, spiky ponytail. Hidetoshi tends towards dark or neutral colours in his everyday dress, such as dark blue, brown, and gray tempered with minimal yellow or white and is rather partial to long black pants, dark gray shirt, and an overcoat with a classic scarf.

INVENTORY/ABILITIES:
►Persona: His initial persona was Epimetheus of the Emperor Arcana, which evolved after an event into Epiphron. Both Personas are electricity- and physically-based.
►Persona-user: Hidetoshi has all the normal benefits of being a Persona-user.
►Hammerspace: ~~No, don't judge me this is the only chance I can play Hidetoshi with hammerspace okay don't question it~~ He stores six sharp swords as long as his lower arm in here, and has a couple of smaller throwing knives hidden somewhere on his person. His skill with fighting and throwing them has developed immensely, and he is no longer a total pushover in combat.
►Experience: Turns out being lab rat of a bunch of madmen and being stranded in a tower stuffed with terrible floors filled with monsters does wonders for your ability to kill things real well. Who knew?
